This article is the first of two dealing with the process of formating a study of women’s postoperative rehabilitation from cancer cervix uteri. The study under implementation runs for three years and will in all probability be finished in the summer of 2004. The article focuses on the idea with the study, the progress of it, collaborative relations to supervisors and the funding of the study. Finally the practical implementation of the study is described.
